FIB Unhas — The Senate Room on the 2nd floor of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Hasanuddin University (Unhas), bore witness to the intense activity of the leadership and working teams on Tuesday afternoon (Nov 25, 2025). Far from a routine gathering, this meeting—which extended into the evening—carried a critical mission: finalizing the Zone of Integrity (ZI) Evaluation Worksheet (LKE) documents in pursuit of the Corruption-Free Region (WBK) and the Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Region (WBBM) titles.
Presided over directly by the Dean of FIB Unhas, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., the meeting was attended by the Vice Deans, the Head of the Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Group (GPM-PR), and the entire working teams for the six areas of change.
A sense of urgency permeated the discussion. With only two weeks remaining before the LKE submission deadline, evaluating the completeness of documents became the top priority. The Dean emphasized the importance of accountable administrative supporting evidence. In this forum, the acronym “UANG” (Indonesian for Money, but here standing for Undangan, Absensi, Notula, Gambar) became the team’s new mantra.
“Every meeting must have ‘UANG’: Invitation (Undangan), Attendance List (Absensi), Minutes (Notula), and Photos (Gambar). We need to ensure every activity is recorded neatly in this format,” was the firm consensus of the meeting.
The discussion moved dynamically, covering progress in each area. In Area II (Management Arrangement), for instance, FIB Unhas is currently updating 11 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with the Neosia system and the University’s Business Process Map. Beyond administration, the public service aspect is being bolstered through plans to embed user satisfaction surveys—for students, lecturers, and alumni—directly onto the official faculty website.
Meanwhile, Area VI, which focuses on Public Service Quality, highlighted the necessity of strengthening the complaint handling mechanism or Whistleblowing System (WBS), alongside Service Excellence training for staff.
Acknowledging the tight timeframe, the team avoided a “last-minute sprint” strategy, opting instead for a marathon approach. “If possible, all areas should work every day to finish quickly,” the Dean instructed11. This was welcomed by the Vice Dean for Planning and Resources (WD 2), Dr. Rosmawati, M.Si., who is ready to facilitate logistical support for the teams working intensively at the faculty daily. This tactical step demonstrates FIB Unhas’s seriousness in reforming campus bureaucracy—not merely for the title, but for better service quality for the entire academic community.***
