FIB Unhas — The Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Universitas Hasanuddin held an important agenda: the Finalization of the Annual Work Plan and Budget (RKAT) Input for the 2026 Fiscal Year. The activity, which focused on synchronization and accuracy in planning, was held in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, FIB Unhas, on Thursday, October 9, 2025.
More than just an administrative meeting, this finalization was a strategic forum that determined the direction and foundation of the work programs for all units within the faculty for the upcoming year. The meeting was attended by faculty leadership, the finance team, heads and secretaries of departments, as well as heads of study programs from the S1, S2, and S3 levels.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of FIB Unhas, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum. In his directive, he emphasized that the budgeting process is the core of accountable governance.
“The preparation of this RKAT is a manifestation of our institution’s integrity and governance,” said Prof. Akhmar. “Accuracy in planning and input is key to ensuring all our programs are transparent, measurable, and quality-oriented.”
Guided by the Vice Dean for Planning, Resources, and Alumni (WD 2), the discussion proceeded constructively. Each unit was given space to present its specific needs and make direct adjustments in the system, ensuring allocations align with performance targets.
Interestingly, the Archaeology Department attended in full formation, including the Head and Secretary of the Department, as well as the Head of the S2 Archaeology Study Program and the S1 Tourism Study Program. This full attendance reflected the unit’s strong commitment to aligning academic and HR development needs with the faculty’s strategic achievements.
The finalization of the 2026 RKAT marks an important moment for strengthening the foundation of sustainable and competitive institutional management within FIB Unhas.
