FIB Unhas — The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, held a Technical Guidance Workshop for Accreditation Site Assessment Preparation on Tuesday (28/4/2026) at the Senate Room of FIB Unhas. The activity was part of the faculty’s effort to strengthen the readiness of study programs and related units in facing accreditation site assessments.
The workshop was led by the Head of the Quality Assurance and Reputation Improvement Unit (GPM-PR) of FIB Unhas and featured Prof. Kasbah as the main speaker. The event was attended by faculty leaders, study program administrators, and quality assurance teams within FIB Unhas.
During the session, Prof. Kasbah delivered practical strategies for preparing accreditation site assessments, ranging from document readiness to communication approaches when welcoming assessors. He emphasized the importance of understanding the assessment schedule and workflow to ensure coordination among all institutional units involved.
“Accreditation is not merely about administrative completeness, but also about demonstrating a consistent quality culture within the institution,” he explained during the presentation.
In addition to discussing technical tips and tricks for handling assessors, the workshop highlighted the importance of mental preparedness and collaboration among faculty and study program units. The speaker also provided simple simulations of common situations that usually occur during site assessments, including effective ways to answer assessors’ questions using accurate data.
The discussion session became highly interactive as participants shared challenges frequently encountered during accreditation processes, particularly regarding data synchronization and supporting documents.
Through this activity, FIB Unhas hopes that all study programs will be better prepared for accreditation site assessments and able to continuously maintain and improve their accreditation quality. The workshop also reflected the faculty’s commitment to strengthening adaptive and quality-oriented higher education governance.
