FIB Unhas – The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Hasanuddin (FIB Unhas) has taken a strategic step to strengthen the quality of its graduates through the “Workshop on Optimizing the Implementation of Competency Strengthening Courses (MKPK)” on Tuesday (7/10/2025). The event, held in the Senate Room on the 2nd Floor of FIB Unhas, was designed as a response to the need for strengthening the competency-based curriculum.
The goal is to improve the quality of learning that is cross-study-program. The workshop gathered key stakeholders, ranging from faculty leadership, heads and secretaries of departments, to MBKM PICs (Persons in Charge) from all study programs within FIB Unhas.
The Dean of FIB Unhas, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., in his opening remarks, emphasized the urgency of MKPK in the era of disruption. He referred to MKPK as a “strategic instrument in shaping adaptive and competent graduates.”
